about

"Eraser Children" (2004) was released on the 1.0 version of the ctrlshft.com website as a companion EP to CTRLSHFT's "Urban Fracture". Contains re-worked and previously unreleased B-sides from Urban Fracture-era material, formatted to create a new cohesive piece with thematic elements of apocalypse and humanity's demise. Eraser Children is meant as a logical progression to Urban Fracture, picking up where "2067 A.D.", the final track on UF, leaves off.

about

Aggressive. Electronic. With Soul. CTRLSHFT explores the dissonance of modern civilization, humanity's alienation amidst our ... more perceived physical universe, and the eternal unrest for enlightenment therein, divining the worlds of hard electro with the visceral, dimension-shifting forces of IDM to create an aggressive yet melodic soundtrack to the living, breathing paradox we face each day. less
